PMC's walk-in clinic is open every day, no appointment needed. Located in Middlebury VT, we treat adults and children with minor illnesses or injuries.
PMC ExpressCare is an walk-in care clinic for adults and children over age 2 with minor illnesses or injuries who are unable to get an immediate appointment with your primary care doctor.
Porter ExpressCare is now open in Middlebury so you get in, get out, and get well.
For life threatening conditions, please go immediately to our Emergency Department.

Express Care is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
PMC ExpressCare is for adults and children (over age 2) with non-emergent conditions.
Porter ExpressCare is the appropriate setting for non-life threatening injuries or illnesses for patients 2 years and older. The Emergency Department is the appropriate setting for potentially serious injuries or illnesses and all patients younger than 2 years old. We, at Porter Express Care, understand that this can often be confusing to patients. In the event that we feel your condition exceeds our ability to be appropriately managed at Porter Express Care, we will arrange for seamless transfer to the Emergency Room.
From the main entrance, follow the Express Care sign and bear left into the first parking lot. The Express Care Clinic is on the opposite end of the parking lot. There are parking spaces reserved for Express Care patients near the entrance. The front door to Express Care is to the left of the garden, next to the large Express Care sign.
Porter Express Care is considered an outpatient department of Porter Medical Center.
Express Care is not considered a physician practice therefore, your
insurance company may process your service today toward your Deductible not a copay, depending on your plan.

Amanda Young, MD
Dr. Young is a board certified emergency medicine physician with over 14 years of experience. She has spent most of her years here at Porter in the Emergency Department and most recently as Medical Director.
Tom Beauregard, PA-C
Clinical Director & Provider
Tom as been with Porter since 2001. He has over 18 years experience as a primary care provider, emergency department provider and hospitalist. Special interest in acute injuries, laceration management, sports medicine.
Liza Eddy, RN
Liza has been employed with Porter since 2008. She is a Certified Lactation Counselor and a Child Passenger Safety Technician (car seat inspector). Liza is interested in promoting health education and wellness. She’s a mom of two active boys, has been married almost 8 years, and is completing her BSN with The University of Rhode Island.
Shawn May, PA-C
Shawn is committed to the health and wellness of individuals, families, and communities. Shawn has practiced as a licensed psychotherapist and licensed medical provider in Addison County since 2012. His interests include beekeeping, gardening, carpentry and making dandelion wine.
Nicole has been with Porter since 2005. She has worked as an EMT at Middlebury Regional EMS for 12 years and has been an EMT for 24 years. Nicole is a devoted mom with great worth ethic and tons of positive energy.
Kirk has been with Middlebury Ambulance for 14 years. He has been committed to the fire department for 7 years serving as Captain for 3 years. He and his wife have two boys, ages 6 years and 5 months. Kirk is committed to helping this community and responding to emergencies.
Front Office Representative
Lindsay is new to Porter but bring with her over 2 years of previous medi-cal office experience. She is open and welcoming to all patients and staff who visit ExpressCare. Lindsay lives on a small horse farm and enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog.
