Meet Our Providers and Staff
Francisco Corbalan, MD, FAAP
Paco is board certified in pediatrics. He completed medical school at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and then headed west for his residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR before returning to Vermont to join MPAM in August 2015. He is certified in Neonatal Resuscitation and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Medical education is a big interest of his, and he enjoys having medical students and residents from UVM work with him. In his off time, he enjoys hiking, skiing, cooking and playing as much soccer as possible.
Michael Seaton, MD, FAAP
Dr. Seaton is board certified in pediatrics. He attended medical school at Albany Medical College and completed his residency at the UVM College of Medicine. Mike loves newborn medicine and is a Neonatal Resuscitation Program instructor as well as a Pediatric Advanced Life Support instructor. Prior to his medical career, he was a teacher. He still enjoys teaching and you will often find he has a medical student or resident working with him. In his free time, Dr. Seaton enjoys skiing, biking, and spending time with his wife and two children.
Meredith Walker Hanson, FNP
Meredith is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined MPAM in June of 2016. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Vermont in 2015. She graduated from Connecticut College with a BA in English and Child Development. Prior to her Nursing career, Meredith worked in Public Health with a particular interest in childhood obesity and pediatric nutrition. She feels privileged to work with children of all ages and their families, with a particular passion for preventative healthcare and nutrition. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, being outdoors, skiing, swimming, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, and spending time with her husband and family.
Ariel GallantBernstein, MD
Dr. GallantBernstein, a Vermont native, is board certified in pediatrics. A trained opera singer with a bachelor’s degree in music, Dr. GallantBernstein changed her career path from music to medicine after a pivotal trip to West Africa. She then attended the UVM College of Medicine and went on to complete her residency in pediatrics at Baystate Children’s Hospital in Western Massachusetts. Dr. GallantBernstein is committed to teaching the art and science of medicine whenever possible and has a special interest in breast feeding, international medicine and the health of transgendered youth. When not working, Dr. GallantBernstein enjoys playing music, studying West African dance and spending time with her family.
Monica Benjamin MBA, MSN, FNP-BC, RN, CLC
Monica joined the Addison County pediatric community in June 2012 as an RN. She has a variety of experiences in pediatrics with a focus on adolescent health and wellness and concussions. Monica is now a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) having completed her master’s degree in nursing in early 2015. Monica is also a Certified Lactation Counselor. In her free time, Monica enjoys swimming, skiing, running, yoga and spending time with her family.
